Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
Credit Card Liability after Death
My mother passed away with a $1500 department store credit card debt in her name only. There is no will, no estate (and no $$), only this one outstanding debt. Is the debt wiped clean upon her death?

It's not wiped clean, but it's uncollectable on those facts.
