I asked a previous ? re: SOL on contract loan. Your reply was ''... the SOL may be different than Georgia. Have you actually checked all the loan documents and any bill inserts since that time''

I've only rec'd calls from the collection co. who bought the acct. The original contract was signed in WV and states bound by WV laws. But I became delinquent in GA 8 yrs ago, last payment having been made in GA. Since they are suing in GA, wouldn't those laws apply?

No. The contract controls, and many contracts allow for a change in states over time (especially credit cards) so you also need to look at every monthly statement insert.
