Old Debt and Bankruptcy

Can somone still contact me about a debt that was listed in my Chapter 7 bankruptcy which was discharged in 2002? What should I do about it if I start receiving letters from this collectors?

If the debt was discharged, give them the case number, court, and date of discharge. That should end it.

Probably not, but we don't know, as we didn't represent you. Some debts are nondischargeable and some could have been reaffirmed. You should call the lawyer who represented you.
