Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

i had a debt and got divorced i had a loan that i took out and she got the house in the divorce but when she sold the house she found out that the house was collateral for the debt Now she wants the debt monies from me because when she sold the house she paid the debt,,, what can i do ( make payments or am i responcable for the debt now that she paid it off ,, and can she make me pay it all at once or can i make payments like i was before ???
