22 years ago my father died , he left his 5 grown children each 2 acre of land. to pay for his funeral his sister loaned us the money and we put up our land as collateral.

each of us paid her back .she died one year ago and now her daughter is suing us for the money

saying it was never paid back . my receipt was discarded years ago..does she have this right?

She generally has the same "right" to her position, as you have to your position that the debt was paid. Either way, as you have been sued you must defend so your best option is to get a lawyer who can defend the suit or resolve it with the relative.
