Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Dismissed bankruptcy

I filed bankruptcy in 2001. It was dismissed in august for not making payments on time. I have paid over 15,000 into it and only owe 3000. Now i am being sued in small claims court for a 500 hospital bill from 2001. Is there a statue of limitiations on this type of thing ? HELP !!
