Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
If one were to get fake credit card number and security code online from a fake credit card number generator and got a free trial from ancestry.com and cancel about 4 hours later, would that be illegal.

Yes. I cannot believe you are asking a question like this. You are committing fraud. Life is tough enough. Some battles you can choose, some you cannot. This is something you can choose or not choose. Why do this even if its not illegal? The fact that you are using stolen credit cards will be enough. You cannot just make up a random number. Most sites want a CVV code only found on the back of credit cards as well as real expiration dates and numbers. The credit card numbers (the beginning digits) are pegged to certain credit card companies and the last four to an individual. So you will need the individual's information, which means you will have to steal it or get it from someone who has stolen it.
My advice to you is, that if you do not wish to have a close encounter of the worst kind with the criminal (in)justice system, that you employ your talents to more lucrative and legitimate ways of earning a living.
