federal debts

i have an old debt from 1995-1997

for stafford subsidized and unsubsidized loans. how long does the creditor have to sue me or do wage garnishment for this debt. what is the statue of limitations?

There is no statute of limitations on student loans. They can collect them 50 years from now.
