Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

furniture

If I had a inhouse account with a furniture co. and found myself in a financial bind and couldnt continue to make the notes but asked if I could refinance and they turned me down but now Ive been served with some papers for the 2700 balance which was 8200 plus 1500 in iterest how can I answer to this? I have 30 days. Can I just give the stuff back that I added on? Am I stuck with this amount? Can I make an agreement on the principal and not the interest?

Re: furniture

You owe whatever interest, fees and principal the papers say you owe. They might accept less, but you can't make them accept that.

You need to answer a suit within 30 days to avoid losing by default.

If you owe enough you might want to bankrupt. For more info on that contact me.
