A pre-paid debit card? No. I have to disagree with Attorney Ashman here. How would a creditor with a judgment know that you have a pre-paid debit card? If they know about it, maybe they could garnish But how would they ever find out? As of right now, I am not aware of there being any repository for this information. So if you got a card from a place like ready debit or Wal*Mart, I am not sure how the creditor would ever find out.
