Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

garnishment on bank account

1 year ago I received a civil warrant. The person whom issued this to me told me to contact the plantiff and I did. Iworked out a really high payment arrangement. Due to my husband coming off active duty, I could only make 1 payment. They took inofrmation off that to garnish our checking account. I have moved to another state and need to be advised as to whether or not I should do a wage earner. My husband is now active duty and will deploy next year. the credit card is only in my name. Also I have learned they have a levy against personal property other. What is that? Thanks for your time.

Without seeing your information, I can't tell you if a bankruptcy (Chapter 7 or 13) is prudent, but I'd be glad to look over your information. Contact my office and I'll discuss it.
