garnishment
Can a collection agency garnish your wages on a credit card debt that is 13 years old? Can they sieze property? The amount owed was around $3500, but now with interest is up to $9800. I live in Georgia now, but the debt was incurred in Florida.

If they are garnishing, they have a judgment so the age of the debt may have no relevance at all. Othewise, we can't guess what the creditor can or cannot do, as you provide no other facts.
