Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Once the Garnishment is paid, does it stop automatically. Example..I have a judgemtn agaisnt me for 1600. They started taking out $555.00, so will it stop after 3 paychecks once the debt is paid ? Do I need to contact anybody ?

Employers often mess up and keep submitting money, so you need to be prepared to talk to your employer. If that fails, have your lawyer contact the lawyer for the person holding the judgment to request a release.
