As far as the amount, it depends on what type of debt or the reason you are being garnished, so there is no way to answer the question as asked because it lacks important information.

As far as how you pay it back, contact the garnishing party - e.g. the attorney for the creditor who has the judgment, the creditor directly or the ex-spouse/custodial parent if it is for child support or other maintenance. They should be able to tell you the total amount due, including the post-judgment interest due and how you can get them the money.
