I have a ballon note for one year and i am behind two months and the signing on the house is in january. going thru a divorce and cannot catch up on the payments.what can i do

I am not sure what you mean by the "signing" is in January. If you don't already own it, you can't have a balloon note due.

In some cases, and I cannot tell from what you posted, a Chapter 13 might give you time to catch up payments. You need to sit down with a lawyer to provide more information to see what if any options you have (and the impact of a divorce).
