husband being sued by credit union

How do we answer this summons? I've tried to get intouch with legal aide..no luck. It is always busy. Do we definitely need a lawyer? We are not working. My husband is in the process of getting a job. Will they take his money? How can we get legal advice?

If you are being sued on a debt, it is very likely that your husband will soon be garnisheed on his new a job. See a bankruptcy lawyer immediately (well before 30 days from when you were served) to evaluate bankruptcy (which may wipe out the debt) and other debt options.
