Husband's debt

My husband incurred much credit card and other debt due to a drug addiction than I did not know he had over a period of 18 months. He came out of rehab 8 months ago, was woking but did not pay any debt off. He is back in rehab now for 3 more months and his creditors are calling me. I have no income, my church is paying my mortgage and utilities while he is away. Can they legally come after me for his debts? I have nothing to pay.
