How much did you give him? Is there a written agreement? Is this man licensed to sell securities in GA? Where is he located if not in GA?

You post no details so I don't know if this person is legitimate or not. There are lots of phony investment scams going around. If this person is not in the US then its going to be very very hard to get your money back.

If this is someone in GA and they are not licensed, try contacting the GA Attorney General or find a local lawyer who does securities fraud. Ultimately, the only way to get back your money is going to be to sue him if he has assets but if he has nothing then its going to be hard to recover.
