Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Joint Checking Account

I have a joint checking account with my father. It's his checking acount, but he added me to it so I could manage his account in the event of a serious illness. He is paying off medical bills and worried that the debtors will garnish all of the money in his account if he does not pay all of it back at once. Can a debtor garnish the account since it a joint account?
