Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Judgement question

Short version I received an Order on Plaintiff's motion for Summary judgement. I am the Defendant. It was ordered and adjudged that the plaintiff is entitled to recover a set amount plus interest, My counterclaim was dismissed and the defendant (me has to pay court costs). This was dated 03/04/08. I have contacted the lawyers regarding payments and been told they don't accept the payments - WHAT DO I DO WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP? I get no response from anyone on the next step.

You have no next step. You lost a lawsuit. You owe the money. Should you not pay it, you likely will face garnishments, levies and other actions. You may have an option of bankruptcy, and should speak to a lawyer about that. Otherwise, you need to figure out how to pay, since you left the time to appeal expire.
