Is it legal to send papers with a court apperance date for Superior court through the mail? They sent the papers to an old address.

Many courts send calendars by regular mail. Many others do not even mail calendars and require litigants to check with the court. If an old address was used you are at fault unless you gave the clerk and all parties your current address. Did you?

Of course the mail is used. What else do you expect? It is the parties' obligation to make sure the address on the file is correct.
