Am I liable in a home default to 2nd mortgage lender. (I know I am liable to 1st mortgage.

Generally, you are laiible for the money you borrow. You provide no facts to show why you would not be liable for the note you signed (which you should read for your answer), assuming the lenders go through the proper steps to collect.
