Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
liability of spouse for credit card debt
My second husband has a heavy credit card debt. We have a prenuptial and wills and separate banking accounts. We live in my house and he pays me a monthly amount to help with our operating expenses. If he should die, would his credit card debts and other outstanding debts be my responsibility?

Re: liability of spouse for credit card debt
No, but the assets of his estate would be used to pay off the debt.
