Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I live in Georgia, and I'm being sued by Target National Bank for and overwhelming amount that I truly don't have the means to pay back. Is there a way I can fight them back without going into bankruptcy? After all they have my name and account information but without proper suffix of Junior. I am a divorced father of 2 living check to check.

If you owe the money, fighting back is usually useless and could increase the balance, as they can add attorneys fees and even a claim for frivolous litigation. The omission of the word junior is either irrelevant or amendable.

Bear in mind when you lose that your paycheck and bank account will likely be garnisheed. Instead of waiting for things to get worse, talk to a bankruptcy lawyer ASAP. If you wish to talk with me, and see what options we can offer you, do a free worksheet at www.glenashman.com and then call me. I've been doing such cases for ovcer 29 years.
