Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

loan from organization

I am a part of a non-profit corporation that changed its name. I became an administrator in the corporation after the name changed and have found 2 outstanding loans owed to the corporation by former members totaling $6600 (both former members have signed promissary notes but are not making payments). Is there any way to collect payment on these loans with our name being changed and or what is our next step.

Re: loan from organization

If it was just a name change, and done appropriately, you should be able to collect any accounts receivable the same as you could before.
