Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

My mom borrowed money from a finance company. They asked her what kind of car she drove, she told them it was her daughters. They told her to give a copy of the insurance card. Now they are threatning to reposses the vehicle. Can they do that?

If the car was not hers, oif course not.

But your mom is a criminal and what she did was a felony. She can go to jail for a long time. Unless she is a complete fool, she needs to pay off that loan before they prosecute.

She may need a very good criminal lawyer otherwise.
