Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

My mortgage said they can foreclosure on me because I owe $54.00. Can they do that?

The answer is in your mortgage deed and note. Since none of us have read it, no one here can answer you. If you read those, you will know the answer.

While it is unlikely a bank would, most mortgages will have language that allows it. If you are behind such a small amount, it would be foolish not to pay it on time and risk your home.
