my mother is being sued by citifinance for a loan she took out for my sister for a lawyer for custody for her children. she draws 673.00 a month for disability and cannot pay the money and is worried they will take her monthly check,can they?

She needs to see a lawyer immediately (before 30 days elapses from service). One possible route to protect her might be bankruptcy.

Otherwise, as soon as the $673 hits the bank, it ca be seized.
