Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Someone owes me a lot (thousands) of dollars, and I have a signed promissary note. The problem is, he is drawing social security disability as his only source of income.

Is it possible for me to sue him to recoup some of my money?

He resides in VA. The transaction occurred in GA.

You can sue but since you can't seize ss how will you collect
