Do I have to pay for the school's paperwork error?

I am a student at Clark Atlanta University. I submitted paperwork, to withdraw from some of my classes, before the date specified as the withdrawl date. It is now a year later and I received a letter from the school stating that they provided me with the wrong date. Consequently I am now being charged in excess of $3000 before I can return to school. Do I have to pay this amount because of a mistake their personnel made?

I would try to discuss the matter with someone of authority in CA. Looks like you have gotten caught in a "policy hang."
