Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
I have been paying $25.00 a month on a bill for anesthesia since 2008 which is what the company said to pay and have been paying faithfully. The started out around 3000.00 and now owe about 1400. All of a sudden I get a letter in the mail saying they only do payments for 1 yr. and pay up or it goes to collection. May I have your feedback on this.

I have not seen the letter. I do not know who "they" are that told you to pay $25. A debt collector? The healthcare provider? Why was this not covered by insurance?
There are too many unanswered questions here.
If you owe the bill, then obviously you need to pay or it will go to collection. Why not take out a small loan, negotiate a lump sum settlement (get this IN WRITING first) and then pay back the loan?
I suggest you sit down with a consumer/debt collection defense attorney and pay him/her to review your situation and documents.
Unless you have a written agreement about the $25 you don't have an agreement. Talk to a lawyer about how to respond.
