Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Post Judgement Subpoena

Household Fiance is requesting personal financial/credit info from my current car lender in the form of a Post Judgement Subpoena. This is the 1st I have been contacted since responding to Household's civil action suit several years ago, which I thought was resolved. Do they intend to attempt to take my vehicle? And can they do so when I am current on the loan? A civil case number is listed, how can I request a copy of the court records? Please let me know if additional information is needed. Thank you for you assistance.

Re: Post Judgement Subpoena

You needed a lawyer back then, and since you're post-judgment now, it means that somewhere along the way, in not getting counsel, you lost a suit. Since no one here handled the case and no one has seen the paperwork, there is no way to tell you what you can do now, but usually such discover means that you can expect a levy or garnishment soon. Do what you should have done years ago and see a lawyer now to discuss if you have any remedies left.
