Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
I am a real estate agent in GA and my former HOA is trying to garnish my next commission check.
My real estate company and checks is made payable to my company with an LLC, my ssn or name is attached. Is this legal for them to try to garnish my commission since its in my business entity?
Thanks

No one here knows the details of whether they have a judgment, who it is against, or any other details to answer your question. For all we know, they have a judgment against the company. You are asking for a guess based on few facts.

In the first place, they can't garhish your money unless they have sued you and gotten a judgment. As to whom they can garnish, consult with a local attorney. All the documents need to be reviewed.
