Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I only receive SSD payments. Will that be garnished? The credit card went into collections 2011 and filed with the court 2015.

SSD can't be garnished but bank accounts can be. So if youput it in the bank, especially if comingled with any other funds, you're at risk. It would be smart with a judgment to meet with a lawyer (you should have done so in 2015 as this may have been avoidable then), In some cases bankruptcy now may be needed.
