Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I recently asked a question on a credit card that I am default on and I said that we had offered $.07 on the dollar. I mis-spoke and it was $.70 on the dollar. I want to pay them $3,500 up front and the rest over 2 years, but they want a copy of my income, occ., real estate and investments. Do I have to give this to them and is the $.70 on the dollar unreasonable and is the $3,500 up front and paying the rest over 2 years unreasonable. I want to get this taken care of, but with my husbands reduced income, this is the best I can do and still pay our other obligations like house payment, electric & gas and cars and insurance. We are supposed to see a judge on Wednesday about this.

My advice would be unchanged with that offer. See a lawyer before even offerig that settlement. You probably have better options.

70% is obviously a better offer, and often a good settlement, but you got answers about providing information and that does not change.
