Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
Recently got married for the 2nd time. He kept his house, cars, credit card bills, etc. and I kept mine - I did legal change my name to take his and we live in my house. But other than that everything is being kept separate. He doesn't have health insurance, should he get sick and unable to work and pay insurance bills, will I be responsible?

No. Georgia appears to have repealed the doctrine of necessaries long ago.

I disagree with Rachel. Should you end up in a divorce, a court could order you to support him and pay his medical bills. This should have been addressed by a prenuptial agreement before you got married. You might want to see a lawyer about whether a post-nuptial agreement is a possibility.
