Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
Reverse judgement
WE NOW HAVE A JUDGEMENT for a credit card debt. I recently found out about SOL. Our last payment was in oct. Of 2000. They filed on 12-06. Now we have this judgement can we appeal or fight this?

Re: Reverse judgement
The Statute of Limitations defense is properly raised in the lawsuit, or forever waived. Otherwise, we know nothing about your case or how it may be different. Perhaps the creditor will accept a written payment plan such that you honor your obligation (whatever it may be) in exchange for dropping attempts to report it on your credit, garnich accounts or wages, etc.
