sale of promissary note

I hold a promissary note in the amount of $9500.less four payment or a balance of $8500 +. The borrower and I want to have this obligation asigned to a willing third party and wants to ammend the terms that we all agree on. How can this be done??

Generally, in most cases one can draft a written agreement stating the terms, and sign. Whether the circumstances of your particular situation would require additional terms could only be determined by hearing the whole story.
