Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
I was served this morning
I was served today from an IT guy who was supposed to get my business network up and running. It has never worked. I payed for all the hardware but refused to pay for his labor because the system never worked. He never had me sign any invoice for services. Am I responsible for his labor?

No one can answer your question without knowing more about the agreement, and to some extent, the other side of the story and the allegations in the complaint. If the other party did not hold up his end of a contract and provide what was promised, you may have a defense or a counterclaim. Whether or not you signed invoices might have no relevance at all, unless it was required by an agreement.
