Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Settlement on a credit card debt.

I agreed to a settlement to an old credit card debt with a collection agency. I agreed to to two payments. I paid the first payment, but when I went to make the second payment the collection agency said they no longer had the debt and the settlement wasn't valid. I have the settlement in writing. What are my options now?
