statue of limitations on credit card
my husband and I , have a credit card company trying to garnish paycheck for payments on a credit card that stue of limitations has run out on,, i was told if any kind of action was taking on this it would bring it up to date again,, how do i avoid this threw his employment.

The statute of limitations likely has not run. They have 7 -10 years AFTER they sued you to the garnishment depending on if the judgment was renewed. That means the debt could be as old as 13-16 years or more and be collectable depending on when you were first sued, something you omitted. You might want to look into bankruptcy/
