Yes you can. Georgia allows wage garnishment for medical as well as other kinds of debt. Why would you think otherwise?

The only caveat is if the statute of limitations has run. While you can still be sued, at least you will have a defense to the claim.

If you are sued, you need to consult with an attorney immediately.
