Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia
timeframe law suit expires
ford sued me, garneshed my bank accounts. How long until
they can't collect. If ever?
can't really exist with out banks anymore, but fear they'll sieze my accounts again. This situation is keeping me from providing for my new family. And afraid if I put my name on my wife's accounts, they'll get hers.
Thanks for any help or advice

A creditor can take steps to garnish accounts and salary or wages until the debt is paid, and they can place judicial liens on property, again until paid or you file for bankruptcy. The best course of action is to pay the debt, perhaps with a payment plan pursuant to an agreement with the creditor. You mention providing for famly - that includes paying debts and avoiding situations like this.
