a title pawn company wants to repo my car. If I don't turn the car over can I be arrested?

They'll get the car themselves. (And if they do get a writ of possession and you hide the car in defiance of a court order, THEN you also could face arrest).

(Pay them or hire a bankruptcy lawyer to evaluate your options).

Generally, no, unless you hide the car so that they cannot get it. They will repo the car however.

These places are always bad news. I know that people in desperate situations do desperate things, but payday lenders and pawn title places are the pits. You do not want to deal with either.
