In 2006 my husband was driving an enterprise rental car that he rented under his bosses credit card, to do work in Florida for his boss well while he was going to eat a lady rear ended the rental car my husband was driving. She turned around an sued Enterprize rental company for $12,333.00 whom is the company that my husband was renting from! NOW Enterprize Rental is suing my husband for this $12,333.00 that they stupidly gave her! WHAT can we do they have attacked my husbands credit report Please help us.--name removed--LOCKRIDGE

Hopefully your husband didn't drive without insurance on the rental car.
If he had paid for the collision waiver when he rented he would have owed zero.
If he declined that, he is ok IF (a) his own insurance covers rentals and (b) he reported the accident to his insurer when it happened. (In that case turn the suit over to the insurer the day you get it).
If none of the above apply, he probably owes Enterprise a lot of money.
