Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
1st possession of marijuana
age 19, in college paid bond, but was given ticket to appear in court. What will happen state of Ga? Will there be any jail time? Any fees? If can't pay on the spot what to expect?

Hi:
You really should speak with an attorney. The laws for possession of mj varry in each jurisdiction.
Make sure you appear for the court date, and listen as the judge speaks.
Generally, if your record is clean and this is a first violation, there should be a fine, but do yourself a favor and appear with a lawyer, it will be worth the $
