Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
over 24 years ago I was arrested and charged with misdemeanor bad checks. I was sentenced to 1 year probation and ordered to pay restitution. I have not been in any other trouble with the law since. I am 45 years old, I have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Adminsitration program scheduled to graduate May 2011. My question is can I get thoses charges expunged from my record so that I may pursue a career in my Major field.
