Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I am a 38 yr old mother of 1 and,gardian of another, 2 boys age 16 and 17. They informed me that they were stoped by security guards of an apartment complex,the boys did not have I D so before getting into the complex to visit two friends who invited them over , the guards forced them to take a picture and sign a criminal trespass letter with all their information and put it in the (data base) should I have been notified? Im in the state of Ga. Kids 16 and 17.

No.

You should be far more concerned with what they were doing to draw the attention of the apartment's security. And you should be aware that the 17 year old can face a year in jail and a $1000 fine if he returns, as he is treated as an adult by the criminal statutes. The 16 year old can also be detained.
