Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Accused of Child Molestation

My son has been accused only and is presently under investigation by Bartow Co. Sherrif's (GA) office. He's had one interview (not recorded) and now they want a polygraph. Said if he passes they will close file. He's not guilty so feels he would pass. Said if he passes they would close the caase or is this just a ploy of some kind they use? He's innocent & there is no evidence or witnesses just someones accusation. The child is 4 and his niece who he rarely see, live out of county and has never been alone with ever. Should he just take the poly? Does he need an atty? No money and can't even mortgage the house. We don't know what to do.

Re: Accused of Child Molestation

Cops are allowed to lie and trick people in the course of an investigation. These charges are very serious. An attorney can navigate the process for him to show his innocence. Contact our firm directly for representation information or visit our website at www.federalcriminallawcenter.com.
