Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

armed robbery and aggravated assault

I am being charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault and it states in the reports that I did not rob anyone nor had a role in it, but am still being charged with this. The same charges as the guy that actually did rob the guy at gunpoint. The reports state that victim picked me out from 6 different pictures and said I was sitting in the back seat when I was not even present. Is it possible that they can charge me with armed robbery and aggravated assault?

Re: armed robbery and aggravated assault

The long and short answer is "yes". You are a conspirator. However, there is a big difference between being charged and being convicted. These are extremely serious charges that can carry penalties as severe as life in prison. You need to run, not walk, to a good criminal defense attorney. Now is not the time to bargin shop.
